Our Mission: We support low-income women transitioning into the workforce, by providing career attire, educational resources, job etiquette, and life skills. With these tools women can overcome employment barriers and become self-sufficient.

In 2009, Hold Your Head Up Suited 400 new clients, a 45% increase over 2008, and experienced a high increase in employment suiting services, more than 80% of clients received one-on-one coaching, mentoring and / or participated in interactive group workshops. Referral Agencies
All clients served by Hold Your Head Up must be referred by an approved referral agency. Hold Your Head up works with clients from diverse groups of non-profit and government agencies including homeless shelters, job training programs, educational institutions, domestic violence shelters and many programs in our community. If your 501(c)3 organization is interested in becoming a referring agency please contact us for an application, a Referral Agency agreement and other forms needed to refer clients to Hold Your Head Up. THE SUIT ROAD TO SELF SUFFICIENCY
In 2009, we invite you to sponsor a Hold Your Head Up client. This is a great opportunity for individuals, social groups, civic organizations, clubs, etc., to join with Hold Your Head Up to help one or more women move up and out of poverty and onto a path of self-sufficiency by providing a complete interview appropriate outfit. It's very easy, and its up to you to select which option works best. You can make a direct contribution of $150 for each client you would like to help suit or you and / your group can purchase an outfit for one or more of our clients. If you choose to purchase the outfit, please call Hold Your Head Up at 919.402.6984 so we can assign the suit and the shoe size needed most.
